This is a great place to stay with friendly helpful staff, nice rooms and good selection of Spanish food. For us it was a perfect base for birding the extensive steppe areas around Oropesa. We loved the themed room, we stayed in Indonesia! Good easy parking just outside.

As bird watchers/photographers it was the perfect location - beautiful sunsets over the lake, great bar down the street with swallows, martins and swifts constantly flying around and dozens of storks nesting. Three of the photos below were taken from the house.

The apartment is lovely, the facilities worked well. Like a small home away from home with all necessary comforts. I was met at the bus stop by Clara who went through everything with me. There is a real spirit of generosity here.
