The resort was perfectly situated right on the beach and the staff were exceptionally friendly. The pool was clean and well maintained and the whole resort felt very safe. The rooms were spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Everybody at the hotel treated us like friends from the reception staff, to the security and restaurant and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely return as it was a wonderful experience.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay here! The family is incredibly kind and welcoming — from the moment we arrived, they made us feel right at home. Our room was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed: shampoo, soap, drinking water, and more. It was also spacious, with strong Wi-Fi and a beautiful view over the lake — simply perfect. The quality of this guesthouse is truly unbelievable for the price. After traveling around Sri Lanka for a month, this was by far the best value we experienced. If you’re looking for comfort, warmth, and unbeatable hospitality, this is the place.

Great family run guesthouse. We had the double room with lovely ocean views and a terrace and little garden. 1 minute walk to the beach and surfing straight out the front. Chirath and his family are great hosts, they have a fabulous garden growing herbs, spices, fruit & vegetables. Breakfasts were very good. Highly recommend.

Tranquility. Cleanliness. Friendliness of the host. Outdoor swimming pool was great fun for our children. Lake is abundant with birds and parrots and it's a pleasure to watch them.

Extremely clean and well maintained property, right next to the ocean. Pool is simply amazing. There are limited rooms so a very peaceful stay. Our host was very helpful and even suggested us a few places to visit around. All in all a superb experience.

The Chaya Beach Hotel was excellent. Super friendly people. The room was perfectly clean and well-equipped. The breakfast was good and prepared with love. Couldn't be better:)

The villa is beautiful with large windows facing the garden with banana trees and coconut palms. You can relax on a private veranda and watch fireflies at night. It's a family-friendly place offering a lot of privacy but also space for socialising with Utul, Nirosha and their three lovely children. We loved Tangalle beaches and the White Villa - it's a perfect tranquil place. A really great start of our holiday.

We had a great stay. The host was very kind and helpful, he arranged a motorbike for us and gave us a shuttle to the bus station. The room was clean and the beaches there were beautiful. The breakfast was very good and a lot. We definitely recommend to stay here!
