Spacious room and clean big bathroom. Good AC.

This resort is very aptly named: an oasis of peace and tranquility in a gorgeous spot. The room was clean and spacious, and we could access the pool directly from our patio. The swimming pool is beautiful, with a shallower area for toddlers as well. The he beach was pristine, and we felt safe enough to leave all our belongings on the beach lounge chairs while swimming / taking a walk. The staff is very nice and helpful.

The hotels pool and beach view is stunning, lots of facilities, very friendly and helpful staff! Spa was also so relaxing, although I wouldn’t say it was cheap. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here overall.

The property is finished to a lovely standard. The villas (safari tents) were very big with a beautiful bathroom, outdoor shower etc. The staff were attentive and so lovely. Food was great. This is a great place to unwind and relax.

The hotel is just amazingly beautiful. They have their own little beach which is very neat and pretty, a beautiful pool and amnesties and the room was of course fantastic. I had never in my life seen such a huge bathroom. Moreover, the staff was very kind and welcoming. I wish we could have stayed longer. We stayed for one night and left relaxed and rested for the rest of our tuk tuk road trip.

Both rooms had air conditioning and fans. The showers were very good and bathrooms clean and spacious. The hosts were extremely hospitable and Elisabeth is an excellent cook. The food is beautiful. Shadrac has some cool magic tricks and stories to tell.

Aki VIlla is a decent enough place to stay if you are passing along the east coast. Rooms, in separate villas are large and quiet with a good, large bed (with mosquito net) and a decent bathroom. The main attraction is the swimming pool, set in a pleasant garden area. There are no sun shades but comfortable loungers are provided on request. Staff are friendly and helpful but not always around during the day. Food is available on site and was OK but nothing special. Breakfasts were included in our price and again, no more than OK.

We went during off season and it was very quiet, peaceful, relaxing and loads of fun! Rooms were spacious, clean and the service from all the staff was exceptional! Although, breakfast wasn’t a buffet style given it was off peak, there was a lot of choice to cater for western and Sri Lankan style and it was so delicious!
