The property has pool and garden views, and is 1.4 km from Mactan Newtown Beach. Providing free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking apartment features a sauna. Great area with restaurants, 7/11, Starbucks etc. 16th floor. A very nice welcoming with fruit etc. Also has filtered water which is great. Wifi a bit flaky but that’s not the hosts fault. We had a great 5 nites here before leaving Cebu. It is close to airport.

We stayed at Bluewater Maribago as a family with two little boys (2 years and 2 months, and 5 months old), right after a long journey from Germany—and it was exactly what we needed. We originally booked 3 nights but extended to 4 because it was just the perfect place to adjust to the climate and recover. The resort is beautiful, well-maintained, and incredibly family-friendly. The pools were a big hit with the kids, and while we didn’t swim much at the beach, our toddler spent hours happily playing in the sand. That kind of distraction made everything easier for us as parents. The food was outstanding—we had the breakfast and dinner buffet daily at Allegro Restaurant and loved the variety and quality. But what really made this stay special was the staff. The resort’s core value, Amuma (a Bisaya word meaning to pamper or care), isn’t just a slogan—it’s something you feel in every interaction. Big thanks to Joyce and the welcoming team at the Allegro entrance, Jeff and Richell from the juice bar who took great care of us in the afternoons, and especially Carlos at the kinilaw buffet, who we saw more than once step through a potted plant (literally) to help guests at the nearby self-service station. That kind of extra effort and warmth was everywhere. If you’re arriving in Cebu with kids—or just need a peaceful, genuine place to land—this is it. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and truly cared for.
