Apparition Hill
Originally known as Mount Podbrdo, this Međugorje landmark rose to fame in 1981, when locals reported a series of apparitions of the Virgin Mary. The spots where the visions took place are now marked by crosses and statues, and pilgrims flock here from far and wide to make the rocky scramble up to the shrine.

It is a MUST GO place.
It is a MUST GO place. Yes, there is a hill to get there, but its very possible to climb it. When you get there is a peacefull place and an awasome place to see the sundown (and probably the sunshine, too). Medjugorje is a piece of heaven. Chatting with hosts, enjoying peace and quiet and beautiful garden. Pleasant people, peaceful place, summer nights are beautiful. No need to use air conditioning while you're sleeping. Just open the windows at night, enjoy fresh air and have beautiful sleep. Bed is very comfortable. Kravice Waterfall is 10 minutes with car, Apparition Hill is 5 minutes, Mostar Old Bridge 45 minutes... Villa Meca also have private parking lot.
