It was so clean, so comfortable!!! I wanted to take the bed home with me!!! 🙈 the staff so friendly and so helpful!! Was a trip I would never forget !!! Unfortunately dint realize all the amenities that the hotel had (like the casino, the cinema) it was on the last day I found out and dint get to enjoy those but such an amazing hotel!!! I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The owner is exceptionally helpful, speaks multiple languages, and goes above and beyond to assist with every detail of your stay. One of the highlights was definitely the food, cooked by the owner himself. Every meal was delicious, and it’s especially convenient since there are very few restaurants in the area. Another fantastic feature is the driver service. If you’re planning to explore, having a driver is essential as taxis are hard to come by, and this service made everything so much easier. Lastly, the location is unbeatable. Situated directly on the beach, you can enjoy the sound of the waves and breathtaking views right from the terrace. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and seamless getaway!

Karls Guesthouse was perfect for our extended stay in Cotonou. The room was a good size, clean, with a comfortable bed and nice desk to work at (the small, colorful birds visiting the garden outside the window was an added bonus). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals at home. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is safe and several nice restaurants, cafes, and shops are nearby. We hope to be back one day!
