    An exceptionally beautiful mosque in a splended setting.

    An exceptionally beautiful mosque in a splended setting. On Thursdays and Fridays foreigners are not allowed in. I was with a non-Muslim, so did not get the chance to show him inside. On Friday, I had planned to attend the prayer there, but my stomach was very bad in the morning. The Mosque is not so far walking from the Radisson Hotel, where I was staying, although walking in Brunei is very exhausting. Had I wanted to go to the Mosque for prayer, I am sure one of the staff would have driven me. Everybody in Brunei has cars. At night, the locals exercise in the park near the Mosque, when it is still hot, but tolerable.
