The greatest ripoff on earth.
The greatest ripoff on earth. The Stampede Board over-charges for everything. The rodeo and chuckwagon races are fun, I must admit, especially if your company pays for the experience. The midway is a joke, and unless you find carnies delightful and charming, avoid the rides. I could go on and on about this ten-day annual fraud. Don't even set foot in the Big Four building! I am astounded, frankly, that the Stampede remains a going concern. It's an enduring mystery that Calgarians and tourists alike return to the Stampede year after year. Take the kids hiking in Kananaskis or cycling in Canmore/Banff instead!Guest review byJonCanada
