The location is excellent, and very close to public transportation stations. The room is a bit too big for a solo traveler, but very comfortable for a vacation. The kitchen is well-equipped, which would be great for those who enjoy going to the supermarket to buy ingredients and cook their own meals.

Hotel reception, doormen, and house keepers are all exceptionally kind and familiar. Even when the reception was busy with other gueats checking in/out, I didn't feel ignored. Doorman was constantly watching who was coming in/ out which made me feel very safe. The receptionist was constantly paying attention to all surroundings too. House keeper, Katie, remembers all her guests by names, and on my last day at the hotel, she greeted me in my mother language, Japanese. This had never happed to me in any country/ hotel before. In addition, hotel room was vast for one guest. My room consisted of seperate living/ bed rooms with superb view of downtown! I shall stay Le Soleil again next year!

    Loved the park- it’s magnificent.

Loved the park- it’s magnificent. We shouldn’t have walked so much before getting to the park because it’s so big so next time would take the hop-on bus or something. Could have spent more time there than we did. Would love to go back and visit the nature house and aquarium. Need more than one trip to see and do everything.

You stop here on a tour with land and sea tours, around the city and the suspension bridge! Location is excellent, if your wanting to be near shopping and stanley park, the Barclay is an amazing place to stay. The cost was also very well suited since most hotels in the area overcharge this time of the year. Cora being below is also a nice touch for breakfast.

Exceeded my expectations in every way. The apartment was spacious, clean and well equiped. Having secure car parking was a great bonus. The location was excellent, an easy walk to Stanley Park, and ferry to Granville Island. Many places to eat and drink! Staff were sooo helpful and allowed us to leave our car in the car park after we checked out until we needed to be at the airport for our flight home.

Incredible room with amazing views across the harbour. Lovely big spacious room and big comfy bed. I felt very safe in this hotel and area travelling alone. I walked around on a night and felt very safe. This hotel is in a great area close to Gastown and Coal Harbour and minutes from Stanley Park. Everything was exceptional and I will return for sure.

We loved the welcoming luxury of the hotel . It was a lovely room, great bed and restaurant. Wonderful understated service. The hotel is central. It is close to the hop on, hop off sightseeing bus, the free shuttles for the suspension bridge and Grouse Mountain, and rental bikes for biking to Stanley Park and back. We felt like we had arrived home at the end of each day.

The Grand Park.Hotel and Suites is an older hotel but well located on fringe of fowntown area. It provides laundry and a shared full kitchen on penthouse floor. Rooms are standard rather than luxurious bur location is key. Restaurant attached has excellent food and Fresh St market nearby is wonderful. Straight walk down Granville St to town centre, or to boats to Granville Island markets and museums, or along the beach and seawall to Stanley Park. Staff are extremely helpful and personable

Spacious apartment style hotel room, with a comfortable king bed, bathroom, lounge and kitchen area, as well as a balcony. Views of the city were amazing and an easy 5-minute walk to downtown. We even walked to Stanley Park!

Vancouver actually IS NOT a classic city-trip experience which is what makes it so fantastic! You get the best of both worlds - you get to walk around the city and see all the shopping areas, the old town areas like Gas Town, but you also have the incredible natural space that is Stanley Park and the marina! Plus you have all the incredible mountains and outdoor pursuits type of areas on Vancouver's doorstep which makes a visit to Vancouver so refreshing - especially if you live or work in a city and want to experience some nature whilst you are away.

Our hotel was near shopping but was in the heart of restaurants in numbers, I have never seen - most of them independently owned. Stanley Park offers much to do and there are many museums available as well as sports. Going to Granville Island was a lot of fun for unusual shopping. We enjoyed taking a free bus ride to Capilano suspension bridge which was a highlight of our trip. Three days was not enough time to do what we wanted.
