Staying at the Duquesa de Cardona hotel is, in my opinion, the best way to experience Barcelona. It’s not just about the perfect location, which truly is ideal, but more so about the warmth of the staff who genuinely strive to make you feel welcome and go above and beyond expectations. It’s evident that this level of hospitality is ingrained in the culture of the place, not a coincidence. From the breakfast team to every employee, they made us feel like family. The truth is, I would normally stay at the W, but I believe that if you come to Barcelona, it’s for the spirit of the city, not for an Ibiza-like feeling. I must specifically mention some of the exceptional reception team members, Karim and Enrico, who are among the most outstanding people I have ever met. I will gladly return here… and importantly, unlike many other places where staff asked me to leave a review, this team didn’t even mention it. 👏👏👏

It's conveniently located, new, clean, and cozy, with a unique scent that added to its charm. The view from the terrace with the pool was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we appreciated being able to refill water at the reception area. In the evening, they offered a social hour with free wine and cheese, which was a lovely surprise. Breakfasts were also good.

Located right opposite Barcelona Cathedral, this grand, neoclassic hotel is a 5-minute walk from Plaza Catalunya. It offers free WiFi, and some rooms have excellent views of the cathedral façade.
