so the best thing about this hotel was the staff, we had the most welcoming, smiling, chilling vibe from severely to not say all the people working there! from recommendation as to where to go to visit the city or where to have coffee and food they have been super helpful! the location is perfect, walking distance to everything, a short and cheap taxi ride from the airport!

The hotel was well located. The staff was welcoming and cordial. The facilities were neat and clean.

Renovated in 2021, Hotel Royal is located in the center of Montpellier, just a 3-minute walk from the Montpellier Train Station and Place de la Comedie.

Very convenient location across from the train station and an easy walk to the center (Place de la Comedie), many restaurants, shops, grocery stores, parks, etc. Size of room and bathroom surprisingly bigger than several other similar-priced hotels I’ve stayed at during my trip.
