I cannot get over how much I loved staying at this hotel. The history is romantic and beautiful. Under the staircase is the most brilliant wooden carving. The quality and beauty of this place is unreal. The breakfast was amazing along side the coffee on tap was a fabulous touch. My photos won't do this place justice. We WILL be back! Thank You to the amazing staff.

Heroes' Square

With its huge 118-foot-tall column, it’s not hard to find Heroes Square. Take photos of this iconic monument or wander around the Vidam Park, where you might stumble into a free outdoor event. In the park, you’ll also see the impressive Vajdahunyad Castle – home to the agricultural museum, an inexpensive attraction if you want to go inside.

Except that, few of heroes are Romanian's as origin who became governors first Iancu de Hunedoara and his son as king Matei Corvin, is a real history about ten tribes coming from Urals mountains and settled in almost actual land.

History, pageantry and pride is evident all around this area. Take some time to follow the tales of how and why this place came to be and you get a better sense of the people. The nearby castle and restaurant are stunning to say the least.
