We liked everything about Poppies Bali and enjoyed our stay there very much. This is like a secret garden set behind a stone wall in the midst of Kuta chaos, yet totally away from it all. The very clean, comfortable Dutch-colonial-Bali style cottages are scattered about the garden to insure total privacy and quiet. I can only endorse all of the positive comments made in others reviews, and we experienced none of the negatives. The breakfast was remarkable, you can dine in the restaurant (fixed menu) or on your terrace, at the time you pick the food will magically appear. The location is in the heart of Kuta on a lane so narrow that in one direction only motorcycles and walkers can pass. The other direction is passable for cars and vans but very tricky. Most taxis will not drive to the hotel. Some people consider the difficult location a negative, to me it just added to the charm, like discovering a hidden treasure. To hail a taxi walk the short distance to Legian. There are many cabs that pass, use Bluebird or Ngur Rai (meter). There are many good restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance, including the hotel's Poppies restaurant. The hotel is only a few hundred meters from Kuta beach.The room rates are reasonable for the incredible experience. Communication prior to travel was excellent. For touring its more cost efficient for you to prearrange your own driver/van from outside.

Honestly after 4 times to bali, this is the best room i ever stay. the room so spacious, temperature cold but just nice and the bed is magical super comfy and huge enough. plus love your shiny marble floor and super concern stafff!.

Our experience at The Bandha Hotel & Suites was simply outstanding! We were a group of 70 people, and from the moment we arrived, the entire team showed incredible kindness, professionalism, and dedication. A special thank you to Ani, Sardela, Pageh, Ayu, Silvy, Nirma, Sangayu, Ery, Apri, and Dian, who were always available and attentive, making us feel not just like guests but truly special. The rooms are spacious, elegantly furnished, and meticulously cleaned, providing a true haven of comfort and relaxation. The breakfast is rich, varied, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients—perfect for starting the day right. We also had the pleasure of dining at Mozzarella Restaurant, where both lunch and dinner were absolutely delicious, offering a great selection of dishes to satisfy every taste. The entire hotel is impeccably maintained, from the common areas to the pool, with every detail carefully looked after to ensure a top-tier experience. We wish the entire team all the best for the future and sincerely thank them for their exceptional hospitality. We can’t wait to return! Thanks in the name of Travel Project.

The premium suite with pool access is worth it. It’s very private & specious. The pool access was the highlight of our trip as we could enjoy private sunbeds, food & drinks from the pool bar. For the price (320 euro per night at the time I booked) the suite is totally worth it and if we ever come back to Bali we book this suite again, even just for 1-2 nights. It’s super relaxing & safe. This was one of the very few hotels in Bali were I slept very well and was super well rested the next day.
