Great location, close to the Main Street and a very short walk to the beach. From the moment I booked the owner was very helpful and just really friendly, she even did my washing for me on arrival which was a lifesaver. My room always got fresh water and cleaned when asked. By no mean is this luxury accomodation but it is great value for such a good spot, basic amenities but very clean and lots of room, I even had a balcony overlooking the garden which was quite peaceful. Highly recommend!

I loved my stay here and would very happily come back. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the restaurant fantastic - I loved the food. My room was comfortable and even as a garden view room, had a view of the ocean. The location is great - right on the beach and great for swimming or kayaking the backwater. Highly recommend!

I had an AMAZING stay at Samyama Retreat. Everything has been amazing, the entire staff and the owner are so friendly and welcoming, and the location is secluded and so quiet. The location is really close to Cola beach, which is pretty large and great, but also within a reasonable distance you can find other amazing beaches. They also have a restaurant where they have great food, cocktails and pretty much everything you need. They will do their best to help you with anything you need(a taxi from the airport, a scooter, they even helped me with a beach towel as I didn't have space for one!) The internet is also VERY fast and reliable, you can easily also do some work if you want to :-) All in all, if you're looking for a quiet and secluded place, Samyama Retreat is the property to choose!!!

small trek required to reach here.beach is very beautiful but recommended to go in waters only if you are expert swimmer because the pull away from shore is a dangerous under current. beautiful and clean water with amazing scener

The beach it self is quite secluded.

The beach it self is quite secluded. Small and covered on 2 sides by mountains and huge rocks. Reaching the beach requires quite a hike of at least 3-4 KM through the forest. Can be tiring if you club it with any other beach visit. Stand alone visit to butterfly beach and probably Agonda is a day well spent.

Butterfly beach as the name says the beach is flooded with...

Butterfly beach as the name says the beach is flooded with butterflies during and after rains, accessible only thru boat or trekking thru the cliffs, a very beautiful piece of beach with cliffs and rocks adding to the landscape Though humans have littered some part of the beach its worth to have a visit here
