Nice location a walk from everywhere. Close to bars and restaurants and decent WiFi and air con. Well worth the price, and the owner was super friendly and helped us set up a taxi for onward journey.

For real, the stay here was amazing. This haveli is lovely, quiet, the room is clean and cosy and there is a charming rooftop where you can enjoy delicious homemade food. Many thanks to staff who were so kind and went beyond my expectations.

We loved our stay at Little Peepal. We stayed in one of their newly renovated rooms and it’s been done very tastefully and was definitely the best bathroom we’ve had so far in India. Location was ideal (note that only tuktuks can get to this part of the city, not ubers) as it was central and peaceful. The roof terrace was delightful and the breakfast and dinners were delicious (the spinach crepe for breakfast was a highlight). The staff made our stay very comfortable and were helpful with booking onward trains and buses. Our favourite hotel so far in India - thank you for having us!

The location of the hotel is amazing! You take a boat with a beautiful view and come to the hotel. The way they are greeting you upon arrival is unforgettable! The rooms are so spacious and luxurious! There is a very beautiful swimming pool with a gorgeous view on the lake! I had an opportunity to do a massage in the hotel and it was one of the best deep oil massages in my life! I would recommend to go to Kimkimi for a strong good quality massage! It is very comfortable that each guest has his own butler who is available all the time. I was lucky to have such a wonderful smiling, professional butler Foustinus! She assisted with all my requests! I would definitely recommend everyone coming to this hotel when visiting Udaipur! And I was lucky as well to have a local professional guide Mitesh who showed me the city from insight, told me so many stories of how locals live, showed me a ceramic market and how locals do pottery! Intimate (3 large rooms), beautifully decorated and well appointed hotel by the lake, with easy access to touristic sites and shopping. the lake view from the room at the top with its large terrace is fabulous. it is only very partial in the other two but breakfast on the rooftop makes up for it. The beds are great and the bathrooms perfect. Jassu, the personable man in charge of running single-handedly the hotel 24 hours a day welcomes and registers guests, cleans (thoroughly) the hotel and the rooms, cooks breakfast, gets up a few times every night to chase barking dogs away, provides tourist information, etc. After 20+ years on the job, he is quite familiar with service providers, restaurant operators and shopkeepers around and is a mine of information and advice for residents.

    It's worth visiting at night because of the food market that is set there at night. The aquarium is really good and you can enjoy sitting and walking around the aquarium with a view of the lake beside you.

    The property is one of the best homestays in Udaipur as it is right in the centre of the city.The rooms were really spacious and comfortable.We stayed here for three nights during monsoon and the stay was exceptional.The host guided us well and made us feel at home....Chetak Circle is the landmark however Fateh Sagar Lake is at the walking distance from the property....Poppy restore serves delicious food.... Don't miss it though

    The hosts rajshree and nagaditya were amazing , rooms fantastic,, breakfast was superb . Overall it was home away from home. Definitely a go to place. Rooms were big , washrooms neat and clean. They have a private terrace and a small library where one can spend a good time . Old city and other attractions are close by as this is located in city centre. Places like fateh sagar lake, sukhadiya centre are in close proximity. A must go place to stay. No restrictions.
