This hotel exceeded my expectations! Loved the design and so many eco details (finally separated bins for recyclable waste in the room!) all over the facility. The breakfast was very pleasant, food was great and so was the dining space and again many cute details. Front desk staff was super nice and smiling even at 2 AM when I arrived.

Hotel Rubens features a fitness center, an elegant wine bar, and a rooftop restaurant with roof garden.

The hotel is lovely and the workers there are very accessible and helpful. Many of the sights are easily walkable. and are also quite popular so reservations for tours should be planned for, and I didn’t get to see THE LAST SUPPER for lack of a reservation. The breakfast spread is excellent and the free drink each night is also a nice feature. I chose the Grand Duca diYork to pamper myself during my final 3 nights in Italy and i wasn’t disappointed!
