Very convenient place to stay if you're stopping overnight in Mantova. Right across the train station, very clean hotel, helpful and kind staff at the reception. The room we stayed at was spacious, comfortable bed, great shower. The room was very quiet. The centre is only a 10 minute walk away. We would definitely stay here again

    An amazing Palace - so many rooms surviving with their original fresco. Book an early slot for the Camera degli Sposi to avoid the crowds. Well worth getting a local guide - we learnt so much more in our tour of almost 3 hours, than we'd have managed to glean ourselves!

    Location was amazing. Mantua is mostly focused on the Ducal Palace, and this is on the square. Lots of cafes within 100 meters, also supermarket. Room was lovely, large enough, well furnished, and faced directly onto square. Noise was not a problem. Breakfast room had nice frescoes. Lift works fine (seen some negative comments, I have no idea the issue)

    The front desk reception staff was outstanding and helpful. The room was very clean. The access to the garage by elevator was fantastic as was the superb breakfast buffet. Also the location was great, close walk to the ducal palace.

    The apartment (more of an AirBnB) is in an old courtyard and located in the old city, a 12 min walk from the Ducal Palace. It's decorated with very colorful paintings, some stylish design lighting. It's quite a unique place. The host and hostess are very friendly and welcoming, giving tips on places to eat, etc. As a welcoming gift there was a local delicacy (Sbrisolona cake & a bottle of Lambrusco, fizzy red wine). PS There's good WiFi and Netflix is actually working.

    The hotel location was perfect- in the historic center, right across from the ducal palace, opening on a no traffic area. Plenty of restaurants, cafés and shops within walking distance. Most of the city attractions can be reached on foot. Clean room. It was good to be able to make coffee or tea in the room. Plenty of tea and coffee bags to choose from.
