One of the best hotel design and concept i have seen so far. Beautiful large room, spotless clean with many modern touches, but also incorporating elements of a traditional japanese room which tipycally uses wood as a construction material. The hotel is located right in the middle of the former merchants quarter, surrounded by the most beautiful streets of Takayama. The train station is just 15 min away by foot. I wish i would have stayed more.

Amazing staff, very mindful and helpful. The room was very very clean, with great amenities such as beverages and hot chocolate. The shower is great too. The breakfast is excellent. The localization, near the station, was very helpful. Also, the free laundry facilities were great to use.

Rooms were a lot bigger than expected, and the whole place had a nice, intimate feel to it. The private Japanese bath we hired was just perfect, and really added another layer to the whole experience. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Beds were relatively comfortable.

Very good hotel like rooms. Both private and public bath and washrooms where very clean and new. The friendly temple employees gave good information and guidance.
