The location is the best for Ginza area. The room we got is Executive Double room. It fits our family of 3 perfectly. Although, the hotel does not have buffet breakfast, they delivered breakfast in the wooden box to your room. We found that it is very convenience. Hotel does not have car park, but there is a paid parking nearby. Staff was vey nice during check in and check out. Hotel also has the restuarant guidebook that is very helpful.

I absolutely loved my stay at the 1899 Hotel in Tokyo—this was my third time staying here, and it continues to impress me every visit. The service is exceptional, with the staff making sure you feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel itself is extremely modern, with a minimalist and aesthetically pleasing design that creates such a calming and sophisticated atmosphere. One of my favorite touches is the complimentary tea service during check-in. You can enjoy a delicious matcha accompanied by wagashi (Japanese sweets) to start your stay on the perfect note—it’s such a thoughtful and unique experience. During my stay, I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which offered decent options and added to the overall value of the stay. Another highlight was the green tea-scented amenities, including shampoo, shower gel, and body lotion. Not only did they smell amazing, but they’re also available for purchase at the hotel—a great way to bring a piece of the experience home with you. The location is also very convenient. While “central” in Tokyo is relative, it’s well connected by public transport, making it easy to get around the city. Overall, 1899 Hotel is a fantastic place to stay in Tokyo, blending modern design, thoughtful service, and little luxuries that make it stand out. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be back again!

The room with a bunk bed was truly amazing. My kids loved it and I got my own separate bed! The facilities were very nice - just wish they had an onsen - but overall high quality and can't complain. The staff were very friendly and attentive to my needs.

    Not my first time at this property and honestly unlikely it'll be the last. I've also discovered that they've added signs to the bus stop to indicate how to ride it to Shimbashi Station, so honestly, it's even better now. They were also really helpful in holding my luggage the day before and after check-in/check-out, so it's been nothing but a positive experience.

    The hotel was an excellent location, just a few minutes walk to Shimbashi station. It is a high quality hotel, staff were very friendly and efficient. They allowed us to store our luggage the morning before we checked in for free, which was very helpful. The room was a good size, clean and had good storage space for our bags. The breakfast buffet area on Level 24 had a beautiful view that we enjoyed each morning.

    This is a lovely hotel of an excellent standard and in a good location close to Shimbashi station and with excellent transport links around Tokyo. The rooms are of an excellent standard ,clean and well equipped. The breakfasts in the second floor restaurant were excellent We really enjoyed our stay here and the staff were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming

    Fabulous hotel right near Shimbashi station. Beautiful atrium lounge with artworks throughout the hotel. Very good breakfast and staff are extremely helpful. Loved the view in the lounge to Tokyo tower. Also loved the coin laundry.

    Grand and dignified accommodation in a convenient location. A mere three minute walk to Shimbashi station, outstanding views, and so many good places to eat nearby that I can’t list them. Comfy bed, yummy breakfast, and friendly, professional staff. All round excellence.

    The location is good. It is also directly connected to JR Shimbashi Station, Ginza, Asakusa and Oedo Line. As it is truly sheltered to the station, there is no concern about travelling in or out of the hotel at any time. There is also a Family Mart situation at B2 which provides snacks, food and drinks whenever I need.
