Service was incredible. Rooms were good sized for a city hotel but the small features really made it quite luxurious. Happy hour every evening was perfect to come back to after a busy day of sight seeing!

Polished hotel with far more space in the room than I expected. Everything was pleasant during my stay and I loved having the space to open my luggage and still have space to walk around. 500ml bottled water provided every day was also much appreciated. The separated bathroom and toilet were also pretty big and I really cannot praise more that the hotel provides tray organisers on the bathroom shelf. It made me feel at home that I didn't have to haphazardly place things on the counter. The hot tub/jacuzzi in the public bath was also a pleasant surprise, and I liked that this hotel provides keycards for the public bath instead of making people remember passcodes. As someone who starts the day late, I'm also appreciative of being able to have the room cleaned all the way up to 3pm. Staff were always courteous and helpful and made it feel like a 5-star experience staying here. I liked the location as well, it's not too far from Gaienmae Station and my favourite Doutor Coffee. I would definitely like to stay here again.

The view is amazing, better than I expected. Not only do you get the view of the scramble crossing but you can also see the Sky Tree and Tokyo tower. Both look amazing during the day and at night. Room is very clean and comfortable bed. Rainfall shower with shower-head and a nice deep bathtub for those who like to relax after long day of shopping around Shibuya. Be sure to get the breakfast as its amazing on the 11th floor restaurant.

the location is perfect esp if you plan to shop in Shibuya. the staff was very accommodating and even spoke perfect English. I had a request for a birthday cake to be delivered to my room upon check in and the staff has made everything easier for me. the view from our room was absolutely phenomenal. all in all, a very happy customer.

    Lovely room with all the facilities to make it comfortable. Washing line outside of window above couch was perfect too. Just wish we had found it sooner. Only 15 mins walk from Shinjuku station and the shopping district. Loads of konbinis and places to eat close by.

    Great location with walking distance to Shinjuku station so you can discover a lot of Tokyo from. If you want to stay in Shinjuku, definitely look at staying here. Check-in was easy with great communication from the host with all the necessary amenities. Also very quiet so you can get a good sleep.

    - Wonderful staff - Clean room and sufficient facilities/amenities - Quiet neighbourhood For future travelers, please be noted that the hotel is located near Higashi Shinjuku station (Oedo and Fukutoshin line) and not the main Shinjuku Station. It will take around 15-20 minutes walk or just a quick 1 station travel using the train. It is still a walkable distance to a lot of shopping place (i.e. Don Quiojote and pharmacies selling all the good stuffs).

    Wonderful! I absolutely loved all the hotel’s facilities — from entertainment and fitness to dining and the cozy night bar. The wide variety of skincare, bath, and beauty products were all complimentary. It’s also very close to Shinjuku Station. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I visit Tokyo!

    Nice, clean, and fun hotel in the center of Shinjuku. The main street, Kabukicho quarter, and Shinjuku Station, are all within a 5 min walking distance. Personal is friendly and the hotel has a lot of cool additional facilities, like a spacious lounge in the entrance area and a hip little bar on the ground floor.

    Great hotel right by Shinjuku station. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel has washing machines and dryers, very useful in hot Japanese summer - the machines work great. Price / value is great too. The room was quite small but had all that we needed, the free amenities in the lobby were useful too. The location is GREAT, so many bars and restaurants within a 5min walk, near attractions like the Metropolitan Gov Building, Yoyogi Park, Kabukicho etc. Next time I'm in Shinjuku I will 100% consider Sunroute again.

    Location was great for us, close to Shinjuku station for our arrival night and early departure the next day. Close to Kabukicho craziness, shops, dining, all the lights and busyness of Shinjuku. Adequate room for a quick 1 night's stay but we've stayed in bigger more comfortable rooms at this hotel for a longer stay perviously. Bigger rooms are much nicer and more comfortable,
