We loved Vang Vieng and the Confetti Hotel! Has a great pool to use on the hot afternoons and a lovely breakfast in the mornings. The room is very large, bathroom was huge, clean, and comfortable. The staff was great, and always willing to help.

“The best thing about Rivercube is the staff. From the receptionist to the waiters, everyone is extremely friendly, polite and always willing to help. I arrived earlier than the check-in time, and they were still happy to arrange a room quickly. Once the air conditioning in the room was a bit weak, the staff immediately changed the room without any trouble. Every morning, they always greet me with a friendly smile, making me feel right at home. The service attitude is beyond expectations for a mid-range hotel — very professional, but still warm and friendly. This is the biggest plus that makes me want to come back here!”

The mountain view and the cleaniness of the hotel made us enjoy our time in Vang Vieng. Breakfast buffet was various with many fresh fruits. The place is centrally located but more quiet than the rest of a busy town. The hotel offers laundry and daily tours with a lower price and good quality

Tham Chang Elephant Cave

Like most other geographical features in the valley of Nam Ngum, the Elephant Cave is adorned with precious limestone. The cavern itself houses several pieces of Buddhist iconography as well as a unique bell made out of a detonated bomb found nearby. Information at the location is scant, so you're best off booking a tour guide before arriving.
