Great location, I could see the water from my single room, looking over to Butterworth. The bus station was very close and I could catch the free town bus or any of the other bus services there. There is a fabulous little bakery just around the corner, a large food hall just down the road, and a service station across the road. The was an area by the pool with chairs and tables you could use, although construction is currently happening next door so it was quite loud. The pool is small but fine for cooling off. Being able to fill my water bottle from the tap was awesome!

We stayed with our family of 2 teenagers and enjoyed exploring Penang together. My father in law was from George Town so staying in Seven Terraces brings us closer to the culture at a time. Location is amazing right in the centre and bustle of the city yet the rooms are quiet.

Food wasnt what it used to be, with char kuey teow being fried at 2 to 3 plates at the same time. Just go there for nostalgic purposes, but food around chulia street and other places is far far better.

Perfectly located in desirable neighbourhood of Penang, a few yards from Gurney Drive. Shopping malls (The Gurney; The Paragon) can easily be accessed on foot. A delicious buffet breakfast can be taken either in the hotel, or its sister venue, the larger G hotel. Service was splendid. We had a discounted price, and it was really worth it; no regrets booking this

Wonderful stay at Ascott. The view from the room was spectacular. The staff , specially the concierge were very attentive. The room was very comfortable with all the amenities. Location is very convenient as the hotel is in Gurney drive. There are many restaurants and two shopping malls close by. Loved the live bands on the weekends. Will definitely come back to Ascott next drive.

The location was excellent, right near Gurney Drive, within walking distance to malls and the seafront, making dining and shopping super convenient, the unit was spacious and bright with a very comfortable bed, and the balcony offered sea views where you could enjoy the evening breeze, making it ideal for both short getaways and longer stays.

Clean and neat house. Toilets have good water pressure and hot water to shower. Water hose available. Simple kitchen with utensils and plates. Oven, microwave, induction cooker, kettle available. Gated and secure apartment with security guard and access card to apartment. Pool level 5 is simple and toilet available to shower directly after playing with pool. The apartment is 1.9km(20min) walk to Gurney Drive. There's a designated spot for deliveries near the guard house.

The location of Sunrise Gurney is truly unbeatable, with Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon right downstairs, and many local snacks and seaside views within walking distance. The rooms are spacious, modernly decorated, and the balcony offers a view of the ocean, making it perfect for couples or families. I especially enjoyed taking evening walks along Gurney Drive by the beach, then returning to the comfortable apartment to relax; the whole trip felt very rejuvenating.
