Great location, everything within walking distance, LITERALLY!! The breakfast that comes included was a great hit with our kids, especially when we had rugby to get too bright and early for the duration of our stay. One less meal for me and my husband to worry about. We will definitely be back in the future 😊

The staff of the motel is very kind and helpful. We got help for washing and advice that wecan get 10% discount for Te Puia Park. The motel is localized very close to Te Puia park, vey convenient. There is everything one needs for a comfortable stay, including comfortable beds, good shower and sufficient utensil for cooking. It is definitely good value for money.

Very comfortable stay. Would have been nice to have a second bathroom, but we made do with only 3 people staying there. Wifi was adequate and we loved the proximity to the geothermal areas like Te Puia. Super convenient to have the washer/dryer there that we definitely used.

Quiet, very comfy and homey. Bed was super comfortable. Lesley and Ron were so welcoming and attentive to our requests and needs. They made a special trip out to get us fresh fruit. Lesley helped us plan a few activities, including Te Puia (Māori cultural center with a tour, dinner and a show). We even got to see TWO Kiwis! It was a great choice. It was such a wonderful stay at Karanda.

Lovely, clean, modern apartment perfect for our family of 4. We wanted to stay in Rotorua near Te Puia and the Redwood Forest, and this was just minutes away from both of these. Dedicated parking spot for each unit out front, spotlessly clean unit with a dishwasher drawer and washer/dryer, nice water pressure in the shower, and comfortable beds.

The location suited us no problem as we were late booking for an event weekend in Rotorua. Only takes 10 minutes to get into town even though property is located near the outskirts . Nice quiet suburban neighbourhood. Close to Te Puia , and easy to get around everywhere. Down a long driveway so off the road.

Pretty much everything. Location was convenient, but quiet, private and easy to get to. We had a private entrance. The room and bathroom were immaculate and full of light. However good light- blocking curtains for the night. Convenient for making a continental breakfast. Close to restaurants and the Te Puia cultural experience.
