This is one of the really big start points for the...
This is one of the really big start points for the Portuguese Camino from Porto to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. You will see anxious & excited pilgrims queuing at Porto Catedral to get the first stamp on their Credencial. Many of them have 6 hour walk in front of them whether they follow the Central Route, roughly to Vilarinho, or the Coastal route, roughly to Labruge. 3 euros for an incredible place. It's worth every penny. The only thing I think could be better is information. There could be a suggested path to follow or a map of the place. Funny thing is that there was a restoring team working at the main chapel and it was more atracting to many tourist that the rest of the place.
