Absolutely awful. It’s a piece of art and NOT a temple. No atmosphere whatsoever. DON’T pay the 100 bt to enter the inside of the “temple” because there is nothing inside and you can’t take photos! Get there early in the morning before the crowds descend on the temple. If going to Phayao, or if not, you must see Wat Huai Prasit Temple, on the main road halfway between Chiang Rai and Phayao. Its incredible and I cannot believe it is not on the tourist radar as to me it ranks equally with the White and Blue Temples.Guest review byMr LaurieAustralia
