Excellent location. Close to many attractions. The room was clean and they provided all we needed for our stay. The biggest highlight of the hotel out of all the many positive things, is the staff, they're absolutely amazing, helpful, kind and hospitable, they even got is a gift when we were leaving, so unexpected but very thoughtful. Our breakfast was very good and generous with many different options to choose from. When in Istanbul, this is the place you gotta pick to stay at, you won't regret it

Lovely small hotel situated just a few minutes walking from Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Fancy a meal? Dozens of restaurants just across the street. Would you like to buy a beer or some snacks? There’s a mini “Supermarket” next door. Wanna go down to take a boat tour or to Galata Tower? The tram stop is just 5 minutes walking. There’s a rooftop terrace where you can enjoy hearty buffet breakfast with a choice of Turkish and international meals but you can climb up here anytime just to watch the boats passing by the Bospirus or to have a drink in the evening. Oh, and the heart of this hotel are the people who take care of you. The ladies at breakfast, the cleaners and the receptionists who can help you roud the clock. Special thanks to Ayse, the lady who welcomed us every morning with her beautiful smile and solved even our special problems very efficiently.

Constructed between 1609 and 1616, the striking Sultan Ahmed Mosque – or ‘Blue Mosque’ – is still a place of worship today. A famous but fully respectable by its visitors sightseeing. Although the entrance is free, serenity and harmony prevail. Cannot tell the same about the neighbouring Agia Sophia, whose redeployment to a mosque does not serve the new scope and downgrades the original monument.

Inside, the air is silent despite the buzz of tourists. Light filters through stained-glass windows, dancing across thousands of hand-painted blue Iznik tiles. Ensure that you have clothing that covers your knees, apllicable to both men and women. Women additionally need to ensure that they have a headscarf to cover head and shoulders. They now charge for the coverings if you don't have

As a Christian, first time in a mosque, I was impressed. The colors and architecture are impressive. I was lucky enough to have the accommodation 5min away so I could enjoy the beauty before going in, one night before. I recognize I was disguised by the non-Muslims that are not able to respect other people beliefs and gets in the prayer area just for pictures. Pity them. You should never put your pictures before the place you are, no matter what.

The hotel was in east reach of the main attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Sophia Hagia and the Basilica Cisterns. However the walk would not be suitable for a wheelchair os a person with walking difficulties. The bedroom had great blackout curtains making it easy to sleep and a separate sitting room as big as the bedroom The stall were very friendly and willing to answer any queries.

Wonderful place, wonderful garden, wonderful staff! 5 mnutes walking to the Blue Mosque, Cistern Basilique or St. Sophia Mosque. A lot of local restaurants around. Sultan Ahmet Palace Hotel was an excelent choice for our City break în Istanbul. Even the hotel is located in the heart of the Sultan Ahmet district is very quiet and from the terrace there is a wonderful view over the sea. For sure, we will come back here when we will travel again to Istanbul.

We decided to stay at this hotel for our wedding in Istanbul because our wedding venue was on the same street. The rooms were spacious and had beautiful view on the Bosphorus, the location is right next to Blue Mosque. As a first time visitor to Istanbul, we wanted to stay close to the historic centre. The hotel is close to a corner, so very easy to navigate to after a day sightseeing. All the main sites were within a 10 minute walk, Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque and the Hagis Sophia… also walking distance to the harbour. Staff were helpful, lots of toiletries and immaculately clean. Beds and pillows very comfortable.

Great value hotel situated in the bustling Fatih area of Istanbul. Lovely helpful staff and felt very secure. Apartment was very spacious with living and kitchen area and separate bedroom.
