Hotels near Golden Gate Park, San Francisco

A very lovely place! I loved the care they put into decorations, details, interior. It was a very pleasant stay and I felt very comfortable. Breakfast was good, everything you need with good quality items.

The boutique hotel was lovely, clean, the continental breakfast selection was more like a "European style" --full on menu (i.e.,beverages- juices, teas, coffee, espresso, hot entree with assortment of breads, pastries, spreads, fruits, cold entrees, etc.). The food was excellent. The quality of the food and beverages were exceptional! The morning dining room staff were professional and courteous and not intrusive to guests while dining. but, if you needed to order an item from the dine in menu the staff was there to take your order and worked efficiently. The dining room was clean and setup lovely. The staff always kept the food area replenished and very clean! We also enjoyed the 24 hour availably for in room dining. My husband and I will definitely be returning soon to stay at Hotel Drisco. The 24 hour parlor room service with hot and cold beverages with light snacks was a welcome treat especially the biscotti! Nice to come back to the Hotel and relax in the parlor room with a beverage and have a snack. The selection of quality teas were very nice. All the Hotel Drisco staff from bell men, front desk, dining room and housekeeping were professional and courteous especially, Tanjay! Our room was clean and very comfortable...housekeeping staff always kept our room very clean...like the bed and bath linens too!

Characterful building. Nice breakfast (including oat milk option). Great location for us although not close to downtown. Restaurants and pubs close by. Evening drinks reception a lovely idea.

The Metro Hotel is an excellent hotel in a great part of San Francisco. The staff here were absolutely fantastic, really easy to talk to, gave useful insight into the local areas and even drew key points on a map. The room itself was modern, spacious and clean, with nice fixtures and fittings. If I come back to San Francisco, I would try to stay here again!

We loved pretty much everything, especially sleeping with Freddy Mercury and the location was top notch. The beds were fabulously comfortable. The response to my call regarding the elevator breakdown was very rapid and the CV of communication by email was excellent. These things happen so we don't blame the hotel one bit. Unlike previous guests on the second floor, we had no noise nuisance issues from the Lobby Bar below.

Walking distance to Japan Town with many restaurants and shops that had great food. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Loved the mattress and beddings. The bathroom was spacious and we could request all sorts of quality amenities. True to their signage - if you don't have it, we got it! They had morning coffee and evening relaxation with wine and even had entertainment.
