The most remarkable about this hotel is the staff. They are exceptional, friendly, available and hard working. We went out late at night to hunt for a few bottles of beer and they offered to come with us. Although Hanoi is safe, I think. They also organised transport to and from the airport and a city tour - all at reasonable prices.

Ideally located in the old quarter and ideally staffed by exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The breakfasts were delicious and the room large and well appointed. Highly recommend and would have no hesitation in returning

Lovely staff - Ms Mai, Dan and Vian were so helpful and very polite. The hotel is in the Old Quarter and is a great location - 2 mins walk to the Water Puppets (highly recommended) and 3 min walk from the Hop on Hop off bus (ticket box and start of the bus tour). The family suite was perfect for our family of four.

The location is perfect. In the very center, but not on the main street, which meant it was quite quiet. Breakfast was very good and varied. The best thing about this hotel is the service, which met all expectations and even exceeded them - especially Jen (thanks for the surprise for my children - they will definitely remember it for the rest of their lives) :)

This is an elegant building to see in passing but not worth making a special journey to unless you intend watching a performance there. There are equally elegant if smaller buildings especially in the French Quarter to see of all ages and degrees of shabbiness. Remember when walking around the old quarter of Hanoi to look up as you are avoiding getting run over, to see the real Hanoi above the street level and marvel at the styles, building hot-potch and evidence of former if unregulated buildings and wonder how they manage to stay up.
