The staff at this place were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate, spacious , very comfortable and clean with amazing views. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning , romantic dinner and picnic. I definitely recommend this place

This was an absolutely amazing time at Paardeplaats Nature Retreat. Gerda and Brian are such a lovely couple running that place. Their hospitality and warm-heartedness is stunning. Brian is a great cook. The breakfast and the dinners were first class and Gerda’s and Brian’s company and our nice conversations were entertaining and interesting. You can feel that they live there dream at this wonderful spot in the mountains. I especially liked the hiking trails right from the property. Also the wildlife around the area was impressing. Thank you two for the wonderful stay and your big heart. Apart from sensational hosts, you habe a real interest in your guests! For us you we’re more than hosts offering nice accommodation in the middle of nature, off the grid! We felt like being part of the family:)
