The river offers a great opportunity to chill in the tubes and let yourself be floated downwards. The tours to Xunantunich and the ATM Caves were fantastic. The staff was very friendly! Also: You get to see a lot of wildlife just by eating breakfast or dinner

We had the pleasure of staying in this delightful bungalow in Belize, and it was an absolute dream. Beautifully designed and tastefully furnished. The owner welcomed us to her little slice of paradise and truly left no detail overlooked. Although the location is slightly removed from the city center, the owner provided helpful details and recommendations for reliable taxi services and food delivery options, making it easy for guests without a car to enjoy their stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this charming retreat to anyone visiting Belize.

Hidden Valley proved idyllic for my wife and me. The location, high up in the Mayo Mountains, is unique, with endless picturesque trails that take you to beautiful waterfalls and clear blue pools where you can swim to cool off, all the time surrounded by a huge variety of colourful birds. The accommodation couldn’t be better, well furnished with comfortable beds and good hot showers. The food is superb, the coffee perfect, and the staff friendly and helpful, with a commendable approach to conservation and nature.

The room was perfect, it had everything we needed and was very clean and comfy. We loved the breakfasts and dinners that we had at the hotel, better than any restaurants we tried in town! Staff was also very friendly and helpful with booking transportation and excursions.

Maddie is the most wonderful host. She helped us out with our plans, made delicious meals for both meat and vegetarian lovers and has created a very homely stay. There are ruins on their property that are being excavated so that was very cool to see!

We loved everything about this place! It is an oasis and a little slice of heaven after 3 days in dusty San Ignacio. The staff bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful, the swimming pool is incredible, dinner was absolutely delicious, and we ate it on the veranda overlooking the Belize River. What's not to like? It was amazing. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing location.. amazing views.. amazing people! We loved everything about our stay! The staff were very helpful and supportive with advice on activities to be done; we rented bikes and did a tour to the waterfall. Would definitely recommend the hike, breakfast in the room (which is foc), a visit to the Guatemalan restaurant <3 and the hot pool!

The setting was a hidden gem!! Beautiful, lush greenery! Marcela and her crew- Ava, Ceci and Maria were very hospitable! From helping arrange tours/rental cars to preparing delicious meals- they could not have done better!! Would definitely return!
