Charming two level cabin in a remote location, but convenient for an early morning visit to Poás Volcano. We were just 2 people but the cabin has sleeping for at least 10 people as well as a kitchen with hob, fridge freezer and wood fireplace, plus WiFi. The views are spectacular! Lots of blankets which came in handy as this was the coldest area we stayed in CR! Host was lovely and was waiting for us to guide us on where to park as waze was going to take us further down the track! Make sure you let her know your arrival time.

Location was great, not too far of a drive for the day of arrival it placed us very close to our first activity on the following day. Poás Volcano and Bajos del Toro Blue Falls trail. The restaurant was great, we had a very tasty warm meal upon our arrival and breakfast was great. The whole facility was beautiful and well groomed. Staff were nice and extremely helpful. They helped us book online the tickets we needed while we used their computer.

This was one of our favorite places of our trip, we even stayed longer than planned. The owners are such warm and lovely people, they made us feel like they were truly happy to have us. We could wash our clothes with their washing mashine and they invited us to breakfast. The cottage has everything we needed and was very clean. Thank you for having us! Very recommended.
