The hosts were amazing and really helpful. The view from the room was amazing and most of the places were walking distance away. The room was also comfortable and cozy.

We loveddd this place, quiet place with an AMAZING view of the waterfall from the upstairs bedroom, food was good and place is super quite and very cosy.

If you want to stay 1 night 🌙, best place. If you want to save money 💰, best place. If you want to be closer to nature🌿 best place. Lovely family with hospitality! Delicious breakfast in the morning and tea 🍵.

Wonderful stay with really great host. Room was really confortable and you will surely sleep like a baby overthere. Good Wi-Fi connection and hot water made it even more enjoyable. I highly recommend.

If you like to be outside the crowd just go there few days to enjoy hiking in the Horton plains area. You will be alone and happy in this nature. All staff is very kind. At 30mns car distance from Ohyia. Better to reach it before night as the last miles are not easy.

Our stay at Melford house was amazing! We spent 2 nights there and enjoyed every minute. We got the room at the top floor and it was spacious and had 2 large double beds. Very clean and comfortable. The view was amazing. The breakfast was amazing - the best we had in Sri Lanka so far!! The owner is one of the nicest people we got to meet - super helpful with everything. He helped us with some tips, did the laundry for us, and in general was super kind. Location was perfect - by the lake. We highly recommend this place.
