Kapama River lodge is truly the getaway you need and deserve - Staff are amazing, kind, courteous and caring - The kitchen staff catered for all diets and their food was amazing, it was like having fine dining every evening - Our rooms were exceptional (we were lucky enough to have the Royal suite) which had an amazing view and was large and comfortable - Facilities were great, with a well kitted gym and fantastic spa - Game drives were excellent, our ranger was knowledgeable and a constant source of entertaining information. We were lucky enough to not only experience the big 5 but also gain a better understanding of the ecology and flora around the lodge - Location from Hoedspruit airport is almost a stone throw, the airport is literally across the entrace to the lodge.

All meals were excellent, the game drives were superb and the personal attention by staff allocated to us was super. However the first haldf we had to share the game drives with another couple - it was far better when we could go on our own later in the stay

All was perfect! The staff was very friendly, we thank Leandra and Danel for their help, Mateo and Robert for the beautiful game drives. The food was delicious, fresh and very abundant, the room/tent was just fabulous: clean, comfy and big. We heard hyenas and lions in the night, adding to the magical atmosphere. The pool was also amazing and one day we spotted three giraffes passing by. What an experience. We did 2 game drives per day and the spottings of animals were just great, all the big 5 plus many many more

Great lodge with only 10 rooms, everything was very familiar and made our stay unfortgetable. The rooms or little lodges we're clean and food was delicious. Very nice staff, especially our driver Jika is a great guy, we had so much fun. We saw the big 5 within 2 days. P.s. Don't follow Google maps, you have to get to the main entrance gate to Moditlo Reserve.

It’s hard to pick just one thing we liked, because honestly, this was one of the best stays we’ve had in all our extensive travels. Missing out on a place like this would be a real shame, the accommodation, interior, and rooms were absolutely top-notch. The location was also perfect for visiting Kruger National Park. It is truly the most beautiful accommodation we have ever been to (and we are regular booking.com customers). The decor and style of the owner is sublime. Everything is perfect down to the last detail. The accommodation is equipped with everything you think you need. Super clean. A great chef who makes you a 5-star breakfast every morning. Very reasonable drink prices with the honest bar principle, write down what you used. The location is central and very safe. Wildlife in the backyard. Indeed, you never want to leave here.
