Location is within walking distance to Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort. The owner Satoshi-san and all staff are extremely kind and helpful. Provided a free shuttle to the station when returning home. Excellent prices of rental gear, much lower than the ski resorts. Great gear as well. Absolutely perfect.

The lodge offers a terrace. Taka and his wife are brilliant hosts. My family and friends have been coming here over the years and it was a highlight to stay here. The Onsens are fantastic after a day on the slopes, as well as relaxing in the cosy lounge room. Can't wait to be back!

Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.
