The staff are super courteous and give you a real sense of Japanese culture. Our room was large and had a lovely view onto the river. Free coffee and soft drinks, and an onsen was included (we didn't even need to use the shower in our room). Really great value for the service we received!

Kenji was a wonderful host. The kitchen was amazingly well supplied with appliances, an awesome drip coffee collection, everything one could need. It was nice to have comfy pillows. The traditional wooden house was beautiful and everywhere you looked, there were little treasures of art. We are a family of 6 so we hired the entire house and the outhouse, which was also a treasure trove of beautiful pieces to explore.
