Many birds singing in the morning and everting. You could even see a monkey swinging on the nearby tree :) We were welcomed with a cold juice. The room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable. The dinner was one of the best we ate in Sri Lanka. Delicious homemade rice & curry. The same thing for breakfast, really tasty. In our room we had a kettle, tea, coffee and a bottle of water. We were just passing through Udawalawa, but would definitely spend more time in Wild River Side if we could :) Thank you!

Dinner was also amazing 👏🏼 Very comfortable room with ac and warm water. We loved the stay and they arranged our safari for a very honest and good price! Some units include a terrace and/or a balcony with river views. A green and beautifully run guest house where we really like to stay. The owners were some of the kindest people we met and went out of their way to give us advice and a smile! The owners talk to us very well. Dinner was perfect, very romantic and delicious buffet. We also booked a safari through them which we love, it was just the two of us in the jeep and we saw more elephants with a knowledgeable driver ( sujee ) .Definitely getting old. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. An amazing guest house with three rooms, and a large common area, located at the foot of dramatic and lush hill. We managed some very nice birding just sitting in the garden. A truly relaxing setting in nature. The staff was very friendly and efficient, and the meals were delicious.

A buffet, Full English/Irish or Asian breakfast can be enjoyed at the property. At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving American, Cajun Creole and Chinese cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. Really nice garden and well-equipped cottage. The dinner they cooked was really tasty. The staff was super friendly and helpfull.

The lodge provides guests with a terrace, mountain views, a seating area, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and an oven, and a private bathroom with bidet and free toiletries. A toaster and kettle are also provided. The staff were nice and they were really reactive whenever we needed something. Perfect stay ! Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. This room exceeded my expectations by far. Very spacious room with a thee/coffee corner, two beds, table and chairs. Ac and fan but super cool inside so not even necessary to turn on the AC. Finally a room with bedside lights and proper curtains. And the most lovely balcony with a view of the jungle and the river running down below which you can also hear and is very calming. The scenery round here is beautiful and an ideal location for visiting Udawalawe National Park, but also to just unwind and enjoy nature and Damiante’s delicious cooking. Probably the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka so far and the portions were huge. You will not go hungry. Also just a very loving and caring family that are always available to help you in any way the can. I highly recommend the place to any and everybody visiting Sri Lanka.
