Distillery is beautiful - definitely have the whisky sour! - and the people are very helpful and friendly. I’d love to come back.

Guests at Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge can enjoy a buffet breakfast. It felt like an elite hotel in the Alps. Everything was top quality - food, room, surroundings. Dinner was a piece of art. Comfy slippers helped to enforce the cosy vibes. Plenty of general areas (lounge etc) for pleasant chilling and wonderful views from outside. I visited during the summer and seriously consider coming back during winter.

Staying at Holmen Husky is an experience far away from staying at an ordinary hotel. We want our guests to get closer to nature and to get a taste of what it is like to live close to the elements.

Holmen Husky is a small, family-run business who has been working with dogs since the 80s. Some of us have even grown up in the dogyard and on the sled. It is much more than an activity or an experience that has got us all addicted. it’s a feeling that must be experienced. Everything was over my expectations. The lodge is beautiful, exactly like in the pictures, the dogs are cute, the staff very friendly.

10 km from Alta City and 500 metres from Alta River lies Trasti & Trine Boutique Hotel. Surrounded by forest, the location offers good hiking, skiing and biking trails straight from the cottage door. There is both free WiFi and free on-site parking. Best accommodation we've stayed in!

Koppangen Brygger is a 20-minutes' drive from the Lyngseidet town centre. Located in a quiet seaside fishing village, you can enjoy impressive views of the fjords and the Northern Lights if lucky. Free WiFi access is available at this lodge. We loved staying here! The property was so serene, the views amazing. We were able to borrow some sleds and sled right outside our room. On our last night we even were able to see the northern lights from our kitchen table.
