All you need to do is arrive and he will advice and assist you with all of your plans from taxis to tours. We arrived at 2pm and were able to join the 4.30pm sunset tour on the very first day. All of the main tours are easily organised by Emmanuel and some of these pick you up by boat from the property. Food was fantastic. Villa was very clean and comfortable and right on the Tambopata river. We loved our time at Sunrise of Tambopata!

Nothing is too much for the staff and they will help you in any way they can. The lodge is great for bird watching, the many excursions on offer are really worth doing, the Lake Sandoval was our favourite.

Expeditions organised by the lodge are various and with excellent guide (Moses). The swimming pool is a plus. Cook is great. Bungalows are very confortable. We highly recommend !

Rooms are comfortable with electricity 3 times per day. Bathrooms are shared and provide an eco-friendly toiletries kit. Fantastic location to experience the Amazonian forest in a safe environment. Let’s be clear: keeping such a hotel working in a national park demands lots of logistics (they’re not even allowed to do laundry on site , everything linen and food is transported on boats and then by hand!). Their team works like crazy to keep this experience great and they can be proud. Of course it’s not a traditional 5* and the insect experience could be rough to some but you can’t imagine anything better in such a remote location. Truly a memorable experience, knowledgeable and welcoming guides. This is one trip we’ll always remember.

Amazing lodge! You really experience the the jungle fully here. They have a good variety of activities to choose from and our allocated guide, Alan, was the best. We saw many animals, birds, insects and spiders. The staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic. I highly recommend this lodge.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Excellent location right on the Rio Tambopata. All meals and numerous activities included. Located right next to the Amazon Shelter for Animal and Environmental Protection, which you can visit for a small donation and receive a guided tour. Very friendly and family-like atmosphere. The bungalows at Tambopata River feature twin beds and a hammock. They are surrounded by a pure, green environment and have panoramic river views. There is electricity 24/7 and cellphone signal. I really loved this stay, being in the middle of the jungle and experiencing all of that was amazing 🤩
