Breakfasts are good, but pretty simple and of course not as variative as you can find in many cafes and restaurants on the island.

Staying at riverside cottages was a really cool experience. The accommodation is right in the jungle so it’s good to keep in mind that you will be surrounded by wildlife and insects. This was something I was nervous about but when you just accept that it’s the jungle you really get the most out of it. The room was super comfortable, had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, mosquitoes nets were good quality, bathroom was perfect. The balcony’s are really cool because if you’re sitting on them you are in the jungle and can hear all the jungle noises. Yes there were geckos and insects in our room but it’s expected and you are protected by the net when you’re sleeping. There was no AC but we found it fine, we were here in May when there was a bit of rain so this might have helped but it was manageable. The restaurant is lovely on site, does everything you need. We went to the local town for dinner one night and there are lots of options available. You can get to the town by the free shuttle bus that runs every three hours or can ask for alternative times for a small charge. We did a night time canoe tour and the overnight lake stay through the hotel and they were brilliant. The overnight lake tour was more than we could have ever expected - this is a must do if you’re visiting. Recommend booking through the hotel to ensure you get a good experience. If you’re looking for a jungle experience this is definitely a great option!

Monkey Mansion - Jungalows & Tours is located 900 metres from Khao Sok National Park. It features a private garden with plenty of plants. Mountain views can be enjoyed from the terrace. Free WiFi access is available in public areas. The food, the chef, the bar tender, Dam, who took me out on the day and night excursion, best part of my trip in Thailand Well done to the staff, would recommend to anytime and everyone

A patio with garden views is offered in every unit. The 2 bed villa was large, clean and spacious. Was really comfortable and lovely grounds and pool. It was tucked away so nice and quiet and great for a relaxing break. Host was lovely and helped us get some delicious food on the first night as our ferry was late and we hadn’t eaten. Thank you!!

The beach is 10 steps away from it, where you can watch the amazing sunset. It is 5 min away from the pier, which is really convenient when you come with the ferry. The location is perfect - everything is in walking distance - restaurants, bars, taxis, renting companies and in the same time it is really quiet. Justin is a great person, he responds super fast and was really helpful for everything we asked. I recommend you this amazing place.

Tharn Sadet Waterfall is 17 km from the lodge, while Ko Ma is 23 km from the property. We stayed here during Full Moon and it was absolutely amazing! 🌕✨ The bungalow was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hotel helped us with laundry for the same price as outside shops (no commission at all!) and even arranged our Koh Tao tickets and taxi. The restaurant was fantastic – lots of variety, delicious food, and very affordable. The location is perfect, right on the Full Moon beach but in a more peaceful, quiet area. The staff were so kind and always smiling. On our last day, we accidentally left a couple of clothes at the laundry, and while we were already on the way to Thong Sala in a taxi, one of the staff chased us on a motorbike to bring them. Such an amazing service – thank you so much! 💛
