The pet-friendly lodge offers a barbecue. We loved this location - quaint, comfortable, and welcoming. The setting and the cabin were fabulous. Julian, our host was great. The cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and roomy, and the beds were comfortable. The wood-heated hot tub was fun. Guest could rent bikes, buy firewood, and 'shop' in the farm stall for fresh eggs, honey, wonderful homemade freezer meals, and much more There are several trails right out the front door that enable you to hike or mountain bike to a reserve with zebras and giraffes. We all wished we could have stayed longer! Thanks Julian!

Jeremiah was a gem and packed us lunches for our hike and our drive the next morning. The hikes are breathtaking. Dinners were romantic, cozy, and delicious!

There are bicycles available for guests to rent, and guests can relax in the garden. Fabulous food in a delightful venue. It could not have been better! The whole experience was a like a fabulous dream!

Elegantly decorated, accommodation at Winterton includes a TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Some come with a kitchen or kitchenette, while others have a spa bath. I had a fantastic stay, the lodge is very central to the surroundings, driving out to different venues daily was very easy and safe. The lodge owners and staff just super awesome, warm and kind,. Self catering units well Equipped and made it feel like home away from home.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. To enjoy the facility and the surroundings , you would be advised to be driving since getting taxis or ubers is not an option. Other than that, it is an amazing facility with very lovely hosts.
