Zur Alten Mine is situated 5 km outside of Graskop. Guests can walk around the dam in the gardens or hike up to the old mine.

The setting is absolutely beautiful and the little cabins are very well maintained and inviting. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The food was amazing, I requested vegetarian which was really good. The waterhole were animals come to drink. We saw all the Big 5 (we did 6 game drives). It felt like a home away from home. Will recommend it to everyone.

The pool area was the perfect place after an exhausting safari. Also the view platform is very nice and if you are lucky you can see some animals as well. Plus point: There are three very friendly ostriches in the place. Thanks a lot for a very special time for us. Highly recommended! Dinner was also delicious in a modern and artful Restaurant.

We travel a lot and have had a lot of experiences with luxury accommodation but honestly nothing beats African Flair! This is our favorite place in the world! The place is stunning, incredibly tastefully decorated, the space that you have to yourself and the privacy of the place is amazing. The bedroom is incredible, the bathroom is out of this world, the pool is wonderful, the attention to details is incredible. The design of the place is stunning! The location of the place is within a Wildlife Estate, so you can see some animals roaming around as you drive or… take an outdoor shower! But what sets this place apart from everywhere else is the Host and her passion for making your stay a wonderful experience. Nothing is too much trouble, she is incredibly kind and nice and devoted to make your stay unforgettable! We are surely coming back soon again and this time we plan to stay much longer!

Complimentary WiFi is provided. Everything was perfect. We got a personalized stay. Janus, help us to book 2 big 5 safaris and we were lucky to see all the animals. As well, we got a driver, Given, very good guy who always keep the car clean and a smile on his face. The food was amazing, we got one Ostrich carpaccio, amazing taste. The room was more than perfect. I can not express what a memorable experience we got. PERFECT!
