Each room and chalet at Garden Route Game Lodge offers either views of the mountains or the valley. They are elegantly decorated with thatched roofs and wooden furniture. All of them have TVs with digital channels and a safe. When you arrive, you get greeted immediately, and staff would help you with your luggage to the room. The rooms are all beautiful, and the drives are fantastic. I was very happy about how mindful our guide (Cathy) was towards the animals (If there were other cars near a certain animal, we would try to come back later. She kept good distances), and how knowledgeable she is. She tried to really find all the animals (except leopard, as they would be exceptional to find). I would really recommend staying 2 nights, so you have enough game drives to also go and see the giraffes (they live further away in the reserve). The dinner is fantastic, the breakfast is fantastic, and the morning coffee with a view of the elephants really ties everything together (they also live in the big reserve, but tend to come into view in the morning). The staff is all really nice, and the spa treatments are not too expensive.

Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. There is a main deck with a splash pool, a bar, and a barbecue. Beautiful setting with every detail perfect

With mountain views, Swartberg Private Game Lodge is set in Oudtshoorn and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Peace and tranquility unmatched. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Willem. The food was excellent, and the wildlife was plentiful.

With mountain views, Crags Country Lodge is located in The Crags and has a restaurant, luggage storage space, bar, garden, outdoor pool and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. This is a stunning place to stay, just outside of Plett. The staff could not do more to make you feel at home and assist you, especially Siso. And the quality of the food is exceptional. Would 100% recommend

The lodge offers an à la carte or Full English/Irish breakfast. The restaurant at Mount Ceder specialises in local cuisine. I had passed by earlier and had lunch here. I decided I will to come back (to Cederberg Wilderness and Mount Ceder) and stay overnight. On the weekend it's often fully booked but during the week easy to book accommodation. This for included great dinner and breakfast. The cabins are very spacious and are fully equipped should you opt for self-catering. Spotless clean. Should you need to connect to the outside world: there's wifi in the main building or you can hike up to Hondverbrand, one of the local short hikes, where you have mobile phone reception.

Beautiful place with a great location, everything was just perfect, the men enjoyed the fishing

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is 7 km from the lodge, while CTICC is 10 km from the property. Cape Town International Airport is 15 km away. Daleen was a great host. She made a really good breakfast each day. We would highly recommend this lodge.
