Olive House is a lovely private residence in a northern suburb of Christchurch...about half an hour to the Port Hills. The bedrooms were well appointed and beds very comfortable, and we also had use of a separate lounge and outside garden area. The hosts are very friendly, and their little dog Lucy is a delight. If you enjoy chatting with a local, or having a little quiet downtime, this is a great option.

Walking distance from the airport entrance gate and Antarctic center, and from a big supermarket and a few food outlets. Semoga also close to a bus stop that can get us to the city center. Very well equipped kitchen with plenty of storage and cold storage for our stuff. Community hall very huge. Comfortable bed, pillow and blanket. Secure storage under bed. Very nice capsule with power outlet, individual light and small rack. Clean bathroom with soap.
