The hotel is absolutely beautiful. I was welcomed with some ghawa and dates. I love the traditional look that meshes in with the souq. The staff are amazing, very helpful, very kind and very friendly. They always offer to help with anything. The room was clean, spacious and just as shown on the pictures. There is a huge courtyard that was outside my room, which added some privacy on the trip. I felt like I had my own space. I like that the rooms are on ground level but also the whole place is very quiet which was blissful. I was even given a plate of some sweets and a bowl of fruit, which was appreciated. My first morning while heading for breakfast, I noticed that the restaurant opens out on to the beach as well as the hotel being part of the souq! This was the absolute highlight! Everymorning I would go and put my feet in the water! The breakfast selection at the hotel is great! There is something for everyone! Big shout out to Chef Rosemary, she makes the best cheese omelet! Overall, an exceptional stay at Souq AL Wakra Hotel! I have recommended the hotel to friends and family! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience and excellent hospitality from all the staff.

I can’t fault the property for anything. The room was quite large and really wonderful, and for a good price/quality ratio in an expensive city like Doha. The beds are immensely comfortable, the bathroom is beautiful and well appointed, and you even get bathrobes and slippers. There is a charging station for your electronics and there is an insulation wall behind the TV so you don’t hear that annoying noise from your neighbors. The property is not in a fancy tourist area of the city, but more in what looks to be a middle class residential neighborhood. But it is a five minute walk from the metro, which I highly recommend using in Doha as it is exceptional, and a five minute walk from a large supermarket. The area is exceptionally quiet, and I slept very well here, which is rare for me, as I am a very light sleeper. The staff is also very kind. They even brought me a heater during my first stay (I stayed here twice on layovers to and from Vietnam) when it was too cold in my room, and the air conditioning could not be adjusted up. All in all, I thought the hotel is excellent, and would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional hospitality and service we received. His generosity in upgrading our stay free of charge made a huge difference, allowing us to enjoy our time even more. I also want to express my gratitude to Joycelyn and Joyce, the wonderful ladies overseeing the swimming pool and playground. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive to my daughters, making their experience extra special. Another heartfelt thank you to Mr. Nezam, whose warm smile and willingness to assist every time we saw him truly made our stay feel welcoming and comfortable. Areas for Improvement While everything was great, one small issue we encountered was with the access cards. They often had trouble when placed with other cards. However, the staff was always quick to assist us whenever we needed help. A minor improvement in the card system would make the stay even smoother. Final Thoughts Overall, our stay at Kempinski was fantastic! The hospitality, service, and attention to detail exceeded our expectations.
