HIGHLY recommended and worth the price.

The sink is outside of the bathroom ( shower & toilet has their own doors) The view from the room is amazing! We stayed at the roof floor. The restaurant and breakfast was amazing!

This is the first time I've rated a hotel this high. We loved it. The hotel is modern, clean, comfortable with simplicity. The staff was top notch. You can not beat the location.

Hotel Spalentor is located opposite the Botanic Gardens, a 5-minute walk from the Old Town of Basel and the University, and offers free bicycles, free WiFi, a fitness area and a quiet garden with a chestnut tree. The hotel is located very close to the old city center (10min walk). I am very happy with its value for money. The standard double-room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was comfortable and clean. The personnel was very kind and was flexible to serve our needs during our stay.
