We can definitely repeat our stay here. Everything, the room, facility, onsen, restaurant, food, services were exceptional. Our room was on the 6th floor, facing mount Fuji. We woke up watching the sunrise behind the mountain. Pink sky. Super lovely! There's an in room bath tub where you can bath and soak in Mr Fuji full-on. The hotel has all these little perks that shows their attention to details, how much they care for their guests well-being like free 'probiotic drink' in the morning (as much as you want to drink), ice popsicles (various flavors) for the afternoon until late night. Free ramen at 10pm, just in case you feel hungry. And of course, superb onsen facility!

The hotel was wonderful from the very first moment. We arrived by car and found organized parking right in front of the hotel. The staff warmly welcomed us, took photos of us with the cherry blossoms and Mount Fuji, and then handled our luggage. Check-in was very clear and detailed, and our room had a stunning view of the lake and Fuji — absolutely beautiful! The location was excellent, and the traditional Japanese breakfast was both delicious and a memorable experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and even felt a bit sad that we didn’t have an extra day there. Highly recommended!

The staff is super friendly, warm, polite, helpful. I was able to easily request the shuttle to pick me up from Kawaguchiko Station from the Tourist Center which was great because I don’t have a Japanese phone to call. The pick up was quick and the check in was seamless in the afternoon. The room is spacious and clean, with a nice spacious bathroom. There was USB charging and the WiFi was strong everywhere in the hotel. The onsen for women’s was also really great! There was no one there both days I visited. There’s an indoor bath and outdoor one and both overlook the lake with Mt. Fuji in the background. I loved having the vanity area for drying hair, and fresh cool Fuji water to drink after the onsen. I was able to rent a bike with ease and the staff was super helpful in guiding me on sites to see nearby The pork shabu shabu was delicious for dinner, as was the full western breakfast. It was so filling I didn’t need to eat lunch! They were so kind and set my table up next to the window with a great view with every meal. I really felt taken care of! They gave some drink tickets for every day of my stay and the rooftop bar is really lovely. There’s music and outdoor seating so you can enjoy the lake and Mountain View at night. I loved it!

From the moment we arrived the hotel took our breath away even before we saw our room. I booked this hotel for my brother's birthday and the staff made this honestly a stay to remember. We used the bikes and went on a bike ride and we had an onsen in our room which was great as my brother has tattoos. The view from our room was beautiful! On the night of our meal our waitress asked to take a picture of us which she then had printed and framed and put on our table for breakfast which was such a lovely memorable touch!

Great value for a priceless experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Upon arrival we were welcomed with warmth and superb hospitality. The room gives you a nostalgic feel from a 90’s traditional Japanese interior. Not to mention, a magnificent view of Mt. Fuji under the lake Shoji welcomes you upon entrance to your room and even on the hotel lobby. If you are looking for a simple, quiet, and organic experience, you will definitely love it here.

breakfast is good, not mind blowingly good but good and plentiful. Room is very clean and very bright. I like the cleaninless of the room. And private onsen is nice too. Unfortunately there is not much amenities in the hotel. If this is a different ryokan (japanese hotel), they may have other public baths where you can try different baths with different views which makes staying in the hotel more amenable. We're bored staying in the hotel with nothing to do. So we are kind of forced to explore the area.

The hotel provides full Japanese ryokan experience! The view on both sides (lake or Mt. Fuji) is breathtaking. It is a good getaway place from Tokyo for 1-2 nights. The hotel provides the option to book for 1 hour a family/private onsen room with views on Mt. Fuji, this is an experience I will not forget.

The staff was very welcoming and took amazing care of us. The meals we had were amazing as well. Some of the most fancy and delicious food I've ever eaten. Our waiter Aki-san was amazing and very friendly. We had an amazing service by him. This was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The room with the private onsen was totally worth it. Room had amazing facilities and the service was exceptional. Highly recommended this ryokan. The absolute highlight of our trip.

This luxurious Ryokan was the perfect getaway from busy Tokyo and an excellent spa-retreat after a long hike in one. The staff spoke good English and was very helpful. We would highly recommend booking a private dinner in your room for at least one night where you'll get overwhelmed by the enormous diversity of the Japanese cuisine. We booked a private Onsen for 1 hour where we could catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji, but the public Onsen and rooftop footbath are already well worth this Ryokan experience.

This Hotel also provided FREE shuttle service from 3pm - 7pm from Lake Kawaguchiko Bus Station, and morning Shuttle to bus station from 8am - 10am. This Hotel is located just near to Yagizaki Park, which is a great spot for photos of Mt Fuji, strongly recommend. Being that this is my first time staying at a ryokan, this one exceeded my expectations. The rooms were very clean and cozy, having a private onsen just outside of the room is the main highlight of the stay. The onsen is right outside on the deck with trees surrounding it, it creates a soothing and tranquil experience. We arranged a pick-up from Kawaguchiko station, the staff are amazing and friendly, communication wasn't a problem as some of them are fluent in English.
