We just stayed one night before flying out of Tokyo from a connecting flight. We got in late, and it was such a relief to be able to walk straight to our room with our luggage cart. The restaurants nearby were closed, but thankfully the restaurant at the rooftop onsen is open 24 hours. The onsen is fantastic, and was perfect after a long day of travel. It was a bit on the pricy side, but the convenience and quality was worthwhile.

This was my best night in Japan, I loved the stuff, the onsen, everything in the room. I slept very well (the room is totally soundproofing and it was very clean) and had a great time in the onsen. Free laundry was also a great help.

The room with a bay view was heavenly. We also managed to see Mr Fuji clearly in the distance. The breakfast was scrumptious. The Onsen as well as the surrounding facilities provided beautiful views of the bay.

I have stayed in several Japanese style hotels now and love them. They have traditional Japanese floors that require shoes to be taken off and that makes the whole place very homelike. Everything is very quiet and enjoyable. There were lots of families staying there too. The scale of the hotel is very comfortable meaning that the entrance and public areas Are not voluminous and grand but, or human and approachable.

We stayed one night at the Dormy Inn and wish we could have stayed longer. Our beautiful spacious room was on the top floor, Japanese design/style but with proper beds (not futons). The room felt like an apartment, with plenty of room for myself and my two grown up daughters. We had a small balcony with views of the tall buildings of Ginza surrounding us. Our room also had its own private Onsen – small but two of us fitted into it quite comfortably. We also used the hotel’s residents’ Onsen located in the basement – this was lovely. We were surprised and delighted with all the freebie items on offer from this hotel – there were nuts, biscuits, soft drinks, ice creams, beers and more on a help yourself basis – thank you! From its location in Ginza, we walked a few minutes to the heart of Ginza where we were spoilt for choice in terms of restaurants and shops.

Location, food, friendly staff, coffee was always available, free drinks after 6pm, I could work from lobby, no problems with bringing your own food and eating at lobby, free amenities and cool onsen. But staff was amazing, great job!

Very clean and spacious rooms, larger than the average Japanese hotel room. Location is extremely convenient in Asakusa, whilst it is situated on a relatively quieter street which is nice. Natural onsen and great sauna amazing to relax in after a long day, and free evening ramen and ice-cream service is the cherry on top.
