A dreamlike ryokan nestled in the middle of a small gorge surrounded by lots of forest. The onsen were a dream with a direct view of the river and forest. The varied and diverse food in the evening and morning was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and could fulfil our every wish. The pick-up service from the train station was also great. They made every effort to ensure that guests understood the hotel's details and services, even though not all of the staff spoke foreign languages fluently. Comfortable rooms, breathtaking views, and a personal hot spring are highlights. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meals. A dedicated private room was available during dinner.
