The location was amazing, so peaceful. The facilities at the hotel were amazing, there is an onsen and we like the kaiseki dinner. The room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the lake

Exceeded my expectations. The views from the room and the rooftop onsen were gorgeous, the meals were consistently great, the location was a great point from which to explore the town, and the staff were, without exception, friendly and attentive.

Well situated on the Ikaho Stone Steps, Kishigon Ryokan had a wonderful check in service and large breakfast buffet selection. The 3 onsen choices were all different. The open aspect onsen was my favourite. There was a magnificent view as you stepped out of the main elevator.

Featuring traditional Japanese hot springs known as ‘onsen’, these hotels allow you to take a relaxing soak in therapeutic geothermal waters. As usual great dinner, this time in the tatami room and not the restaurant, made it even better. It doesn't feel crowded even though a lot of rooms were reserved. Onsen was perfect. A must stay in the Takasaki area.

The room was amaizing! It was very traditionally japanese and some amaizing sweets and tea were left in the room for us to enjoy. The onsen was great and relaxing and the breakfast that was included in the booking was very delicious and healthy. Very nice view from all rooms as well!
