    The food was amazing! Bus stop directly out the front so it was very convenient as it was raining on the day we left. We loved the hot pools in the river! Careful though the hot springs can be incredibly hot! Our beds were comfortable and room had a lovely view. Massage chair was really good. The host and service were awesome.

    The host was very generous to give us slices of bread and bananas. There was free coffee, peanut butter, jam and cookies. They even have shampoo and body soap that we can take to the public hot spring.

    The staff were very friendly & did their best to ensure our stay was a great one. We could access everything we needed. Bonus discovery was a washing machine! Short walk to the fabulous outdoor onsen. Swimmers & towels are provided if you don’t pack yours. Food was beautiful. Room was large & clean.

    Nice location. Private onsen and an open onsen just up front. Nice staff. The food and drinks were amazing, recommend it. They have a massage chair wich was just what I needed after hiking.

    The host is very nice and welcoming. There is both outside onsen and inside private onsen, the outside one is quite an original experience. The room was spacious and well arranged. Free laundry. And...an outstanding massage chair !! Thank you for this precious time in the mountains.

    The breakfast, dinner, and bento were so delicious!! I miss the mushroom and duck hot pot. All the meals were fresh and healthy. Best bento on the kumano kodo! The hosts were so nice. The private onsen was great for couples. You can adjust the temperature of the onsen if it is too hot or too cold. Great location. Would definitely stay again. The lobby has welcome drinks and there is also a kettle in the room with tea.

    This is an exceptional place! If you are hiking the Kumano Kodo trail this accommodation is very well located. The owner was super friendly and prepared a fabulous dinner and breakfast. The accommodation was very clean and quiet and the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing, plus there was a private Onsen at the accommodation - Exactly what you needed after a long day of hiking.

    River view, spacious room, well equipped. the property has own indoor hot springs as well as access to outdoor natural onsen. It's amazing experience to bath in one of those. Beuatiful natural surroundings. Property has parking. There was just one restaurant in village, but the dinners and breakfast can be also prepared by property hosts. We had dinner and we got huge portions and everything was delishious, also vegan friendly. the property is only 10-15mins drive from Honguncho Hongu (with more restaurants and supermarket)
